Inex One replaces traditional Expert Networks

Expert networks are central to growth strategy and M&A due diligence projects. James Agres would know. As the founder of 2nd St Strategy and formerly with McKinsey & Company and EY-Parthenon, James has delivered more than 150 such engagements over 15 years, for Private Equity and corporate clients.
“I have led teams doing thousands of expert interviews, and used all the major expert networks”, says James Agres.
Initially I was concerned about the availability of quality of experts on the platform, but it turned out that the experts I was connected with were just as good as the ones provided by GLG, Third Bridge and others.
I particularly like that things are streamlined. Working with the traditional expert networks, I would:
Have parallel email chains with different expert networks.
Juggle experts in 3 different portals, formatted differently, with different calendar availabilities.
Never know what I was being charged (they charged in “credits”, most experts cost >1 credit, and things like transcripts and recordings cost extra).
Deal with different practices: some wouldn’t give you call recordings; others would bill an extra full hour if the call ran over, etc. I don’t have time with that.
Particularly, if I wanted to use any AI tool for these calls, I had to get the recordings and transcripts, upload them into a third party tool, and add all the meta data related to the calls.
Today, I only use Inex One for all my expert calls. The service is great, pricing is generally better, and the AI transcript chat saves a ton of time. In particular, having a single portal where I can see all the experts I am connecting with and interact with an AI tool about the transcripts is tremendously useful.
Inex One also supported a recent survey, where I could compare 5-6 different survey shops and pick the best one for my project. It turned out really well. If it wasn’t for Inex One, I’d be stuck with the traditional vendors.”
