DeMatteo Research is an independent broker-dealer, registered with FINRA, providing institutional investors with idea forums, group conference calls, written research, and a boutique expert consultant network for targeted conference calls and 1-on-1 consultations. Written research is produced by FINRA-licensed research analysts and subject to internal compliance review.
In 2009, DeMatteo Research struck an exclusive partnership with LinkedIn. This was predicted to give DeMatteo an advantage over GLG and other newly started networks; however, it does not seem to have materialized. Today, DeMatteo operates a small expert network business, primarily serving US-based buy-side firms.
