MEDACorp is an expert network arm of Leerink Partners, focused on giving access to healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs). Its parent company has gone through several corporate changes: acquired by SVB Financial Group in 2019 and rebranded as SVB Leerink, then rebranded again as SVB Securities in 2021 (which also acquired MoffettNathanson). Following the March 2023 collapse of Silicon Valley Bank, SVB Securities' management completed a buyout backed by Baupost Group, and the firm was renamed Leerink Partners in July 2023. The firm has continued expanding since, opening a Miami office in 2023 and announcing plans for a London office in 2025.
MEDACorp provides access to a proprietary network it says spans 20,000 healthcare professionals, including physicians, clinicians, PhDs, and regulatory and reimbursement experts. Every member of the network agrees to a strict set of terms and conditions covering confidentiality and compliance.
