Round Table Group

Round Table Group is an expert network focusing on expert witness services. It was founded in 1994 by three co-founders, initially recruiting university professors from schools including Northwestern, Cornell, Vanderbilt, the University of Chicago, Harvard, and Stanford to serve as consultants and expert witnesses. By 1996, the firm began also admitting skilled practitioners beyond academia, and by 1997 was working with the entire "AmLaw 200" list of law firms.

In 2010, it was acquired and rebranded as Thomson Reuters Expert Witness Services. The following year, it acquired the Silicon Valley Expert Witness Group, a firm serving the niche intellectual property and patent technology market. In 2019, the founders reacquired Round Table Group and relaunched it under its original name.

The firm says it works with over 40,000 affiliated expert witnesses. The firm also partners with Expert Witness Profiler, offering cost-effective background reports on experts, including preliminary screening reports, expert challenge studies, and full expert witness profiles.
