About Innosquared
Innosquared GmbH was a German expert network based in Düsseldorf, active since 2009. The firm connected business decision-makers and researchers with knowledgeable experts worldwide, offering phone consultations, in-person meetings, custom surveys, custom reports, and proprietary data products to clients including leading consulting firms, hedge funds, private equity firms, and Fortune-ranked companies.
On February 11, 2015, Innosquared's founders and shareholders sold all shares to Guidepoint Global, with the deal publicly announced the following day. The acquisition gave Guidepoint its first consulting-only office, based in Düsseldorf, and increased the size of its EMEA network to over 50,000 experts at the time. Innosquared's founders initially retained senior roles within Guidepoint following the deal. Network Corporate Finance advised Innosquared's shareholders on the transaction.
In December 2023, two weeks before Christmas, Guidepoint laid off its entire German team of approximately 60 people, which included the remaining former Innosquared staff - bringing an end to the Innosquared name within the organization, nearly nine years after the acquisition.
