The best expert networks in 2024

The best expert networks deliver great experts fast, compliantly, at a fair cost. But how do you know if the service you get is good?

Inex One has created the world's first rating of expert networks from all over the world, based on their actual service levels. The expert network rating combines key factors such as speed and quality of service, quality and accuracy of experts, and compliance operations.

In 2018, we began mapping the global expert network industry, monitoring the more than 100 expert networks worldwide. Traditional expert networks have long struggled to operate in Europe and Asia: with Inex One, you can now reach the best Japanese expert networks, the best expert networks in Europe, in Korea, and many other regions.

Today, Inex One serves more than 6,000 users worldwide, who do hundreds of expert interviews and surveys every week. User reviews of Inex One are generally positive. But we don't just help users - we also gather data! This is aggregated and anonymized, and helps the expert network and survey partners improve their service. The data forms the basis for this 2024 expert network ranking.

Which expert network is the best?

Of all 100+ expert networks globally, 21 expert networks rank as high-performing on Inex One. These firms achieve a Gold, Silver, or Bronze badge.

The best expert networks in 2024 based on performance data are Colift, Focal Fact, Infoquest, Nodes, Northern Insights, and Reticula. Additional high-performers are silver partners Candour Energy, Insights Driven Research (IDR), NetworksX, Ridgetop Research, Sharefair and Trust Insights.

Also among the high-performers are Bronze tier partners BWG Strategy, Enco Insights, High Beam Global, Ivy Exec, Maven Research, Minuteman Exchange, Six Degrees Intelligence and Vedak.

All these are high-quality expert networks, who support hundreds of clients on Inex One. We've reviewed an additional few dozen expert networks over the previous years, who did not earn a ranking.

How do you measure expert network quality?

To begin with, we review each expert network's compliance program and operations. Inex One has established an industry-leading expert network compliance program, in close collaboration with senior leaders in our industry. Expert networks that meet our standards are admitted as Inex One Partners, where their compliance operations are continuously monitored.

Once an expert network is active on client projects, we monitor aggregate quality metrics such as speed of service, number of experts delivered, and conversion rate.

Also chat responsiveness, quality of screening answers, and ease of scheduling calls across 1000's of projects are weighed in.

For expert network pricing, we calculate the median price of experts that clients actually take calls with, a transparent metric as opposed to the opaque credits and "premium experts" model that traditional expert networks use. We weigh quality metrics based on their importance to the client user.

Different use cases by client segment

The primary users of Inex One are strategy consultants, private equity investors, and corporate strategy teams. Hence, the metric is tailored to their preferences. A different user group may have different preferences, and put different weights to each of the quality metrics.

People using Inex One generally prioritize the skill level of the expert network account manager (how well they understand the brief and find relevant experts), the speed of service, and the quality of experts.
